Mr. Perkins

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air whether he will state the total estimated cost of constructing the South Cerney aerodrome; what proportion of this amount has already been spent; and when it is anticipated that the aerodrome will be finished?

The total estimated cost of constructing the aerodrome at South Cerney is £457,000 of which approximately £200,000 has already been spent. The aerodrome is already in use and completion of the permanent buildings is expected towards the end of next year.
