§ Mr. ElliotThe average cost per house of all the houses for which tenders were approved by the Department of Health in the third quarter of 1937 exceeded the cost in the second quarter of 1937 by £16. The number of houses approved for construction with State assistance in the third quarter of 1937 was 3,549 as against 9.647 for the corresponding quarter of last year.
