HC Deb 02 November 1937 vol 328 c755W
Colonel Nathan

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, in reference to the present situation in China, whether His Majesty's Government has ascertained the views of the Dominions, especially Australia, New Zealand, and Canada; and whether the policy now being pursued represents a concerted Empire policy?

Viscount Cranborne

His Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom have been in constant communication with His Majesty's Governments in Canada, the Commonwealth of Australia, New Zealand and the Union of South Africa regarding the present situation in China and in particular regarding the work of the Brussels Conference. These Dominions will be separately represented at that conference and the United Kingdom delegation will remain in the closest touch with their representative.
