Mr. LindsayDuring the year which ended on 31st December, 1936, 3,463,948 children in public elementary schools in England and Wales were subjected to dental inspection under arrangements made by local education authorities. Of these, 2,425,299 children were found to require dental treatment and 1,536,627 were treated under arrangements made by local education authorities.
