HC Deb 06 May 1937 vol 323 c1270W
Mr. Jagger

asked the secretary of State for War how many temporary men are employed in the Imperial War Graves Commission; what is their length of service; and what is the remuneration they receive?

Mr. Cooper

The number of men employed by the Imperial War Graves Commission in London and France and Belgium on temporary agreements is 25. Details as to length of service and remuneration are as follow:

be normally dependent on his earnings for the support of himself and his family, even though at the moment of undertaking a prescribed course of hospital treatment, which prevents him from following his previous occupation, he happens not to be actually in employment. Each case is determined on its own facts.
