HC Deb 04 May 1937 vol 323 cc991-2W
Mr. M. MacMillan

asked the Minister of Transport whether he will take action to urge the substantial reduction of the freight charges imposed by the MacBrayne Steamship Company on food carried on their Western Isles service?

Mr. Hors-Belisha

I shall be prepared to consider with the company any specific freight charges on foodstuffs considered to be excessive, if the hon. Member will furnish me with particulars.
