§ Captain CrookshankDuring the first four months of 1937, in Nottinghamshire, 13 persons were killed and 42 seriously injured by accidents at the mines: the figures for the whole of 1936 were 34 killed and 150 seriously injured. No additional inspectors have been appointed to this area recently.
