§ Mr. EdenThere is at present before the drafting committee of the Capitulations Conference a proposal by the Norwegian delegation which deals with the 799W pension rights of those members of the staff of the Mixed Courts, including the magistrature, who will not have reached the age limit at the expiry of the transitional period. This proposal is receiving the support of the United Kingdom delegation.
§ Mr. Hopkinasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he can report on the progress of the Capitulations Conference at Montreux?
§ Mr. EdenThe conference is proceeding satisfactorily. The hon. Member will appreciate, however, that I am not in a position to make any detailed statement while negotiations are still in progress.
