HC Deb 25 March 1937 vol 321 c3092W
Mr. Anstruther-Gray

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Health, as representing the First Commissioner of Works, whether, in view of the large number of visitors who will be in London during Coronation week and who will be anxious to see over the Palace of Westminster, he will consider whether arrangements can be made to extend the facilities usually accorded to the public on Saturdays to as many other days as possible during that week?

Mr. R. S. Hudson (for the First Commissioner of Works)

My Noble Friend will consult the proper authorities in regard to my hon. Friend's suggestion, but he foresees great difficulties in the way of its adoption. It would also involve considerable increases in expenditure on attendants.
