§ Mr. R. S. Hudson (for the First Commissioner of Works)I understand that the hon. Member desires information concerning purchases on behalf of the Air Ministry. Furniture required by the Air Ministry is purchased by my Noble 2927W Friend's Department on an agency basis. The number of contracts involved is approximately 275 and the total value approximately £140,000. Contracts worth approximately £3,600 were obtained by Scottish firms.
