asked the President of the Board of Education the number of children who left the elementary schools of London in 1934, 1935, and 1936, respectively; and how many were placed in employment by the Employment Exchanges and the school authorities?

The answer to the first part of the question is given in the following table. I have no information as regards the second part of the question.

Number of pupils who left Public Elementary Schools maintained by the London County Council.

Year ended Number who left for Further Education aged 14 years and over. Number who left for reasons other than Further Education on or after attaining age of exemption.
