HC Deb 17 March 1937 vol 321 c2090W
Captain McEwen

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether any discussions are taking place with States not members of the League of Nations on the subject of the supply and distribution of raw materials?

Mr. Eden

No, Sir. I understand that there have been reports to this effect, but they are unfounded. His Majesty's Government have entered into no such conversations. Indeed the only step they have taken is to make it clear to the German Government that their cooperation in the inquiry would be welcome.
