HC Deb 16 March 1937 vol 321 c1869W
Mr. Garro Jones

asked the Prime Minister when he proposes to allot a day for the consideration of the report of the Public Accounts Committee?

The Prime Minister

I would draw the attention of the hon. Member to Standing Order No. 14, paragraph 4, which allows the reports of the Committee of Public Accounts to be considered on an Allotted Supply Day. The hon. Member will be aware that the subjects debated on Allotted Supply Days are, by custom, chosen by the Opposition.

Mr. Garro Jones

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether there are any outstanding differences between the Public Accounts Committee and the Treasury which have not been specifically brought to the notice of the House according to custom?

Mr. Chamberlain

No, Sir.
