§ Mr. ButlerMy Noble Friend is informed that His Excellency the Viceroy has now received the report of the political officers who were commissioned to visit the States for the purpose stated in my reply on 23rd November last to my hon. and gallant Friend the Member for Wycombe and that this is being studied by the Government of India with a view to the early initiation of negotiations for accession.
