HC Deb 11 March 1937 vol 321 c1362W
Mr. Thorne

asked the Minister of Health what has been the annual saving to the employers that are rated under the Rating and Valuation Act, 1925; and what is the annual loss to the rating authorities that are affected by the 1925 Act?

Sir K. Wood

If, as I assume, the hon. Member is referring to relief by way of derating, I regret that the information in the form desired is not available. The amount of losses on account of rates is £22,292,203, for which due provision is made in the block grant.
