HC Deb 09 March 1937 vol 321 c984W
Sir M. Barclay-Harvey

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland how many complaints were received during 1936 of illegal trawling off the Kincardineshire coast; how many prosecutions there were for such illegal trawling; and what fine was imposed in each case?

Mr. Elliot

No complaints of illegal trawling off the Kincardineshire coast were received by the Fishery Board for Scotland during 1936. One detection of illegal trawling in the area was made by a Fishery Board cruiser. At the trial the accused was admonished.
