asked the Minister of Labour whether he can give a sample analysis of cases on the register of the Unemployment Assistance Board, by age and duration?

The latest information available concerning the duration of the last spell of unemployment of applicants for unemployment allowances is contained in the following table of the position in June, 1936. I regret that a detailed age classification of those figures is not available. A more detailed table relating to the 27th May, 1935, is given as Appendix VI on page 303 of the Report of the Unemployment Assistance Board for the period ended 31st December, 1935 (Cmd. 5177).
