asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he will give the imports of peas, other than split peas, from Poland and Rumania for the years ended 31st December, 1932, 1933, 1934, 1935, and 1936?

The following table shows the total quantities and declared values of peas, not fresh, other than split peas, imported into the United Kingdom during each of the years 1932 to 1936, and consigned from Poland and Rumania, respectively:

The following table shows the total quantities and declared values of split peas imported into the United Kingdom during each of the years 1932 to 1936, and consigned from the Netherlands, Japan, Poland and Rumania, respectively.

with the figures of the preceding year, these imports show any increases in percentages?

During the year 1936, the total value of imports of hosiery into the United Kingdom was £2.1 million, as compared with £1.6 million in 1935, the principal countries of consignment being Germany, Japan and Czechoslovakia. The increase as compared with 1935 was 14 per cent. in the case of both Germany and Japan, while imports from Czechoslovakia rose from £27,000 to £250,000.
