§ Lieut.-Colonel MuirheadA sum of £35,000 has been provided in Air Estimates for 1937 for subsidies to light aeroplane clubs and it is expected that more than 50 clubs will participate this year in the subsidy scheme. The essential feature of the scheme is the payment of grants in respect of pilots' licences obtained and renewed.
