§ Major Owenasked the Minister of Transport whether his attention has been called to the serious disability imposed on ex-members of His Majesty's forces who have qualified, while on service abroad, for licences to drive motor vehicles by Section 6 (1) of the Road Traffic Act; and whether he is prepared to amend this section of the Act so as to enable such ex-Service men to take out driving licences in this country without taking out 3124W provisional licences and undergoing the test of competence prescribed by the Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) Regulations, 1937?
