(2) what is the present total output and consumption of electricity per head of population in Great Britain, including both electricity produced by authorised undertakings and by private plants?
§ Mr. BurginI am not aware of any statistics which would provide the whole of the information asked for. Much of the ground, however, is covered by the Returns of Engineering and Financial Statistics relating to authorised undertakings in Great Britain published by the Electricity Commissioners, and the Census of Production Statistics issued by the Board of Trade.
