§ Mr. Kellyasked the Minister of Transport whether he can state the number of appointments which have been made to posts in the clerical grade in his Department during the period 1st July, 1935, to 30th June, 1937; and how many of such entrants were appointed respectively from the open clerical examination, the minor and manipulative grades examination, the "S" class, the clerical assistant grade, and the typing grades?
§ Mr. BurginThe total number of appointments during the period mentioned was 137. Of these, 92 were from the open clerical examination, 19 from the minor and manipulative grades examination, 19 from the "S" class, four from the clerical assistant grade and three from the typing grades.
