Friend is no doubt referring to the investigations which I have instituted following a proposal that a committee should be set up to consider a contributory superannuation scheme for industrial workers in Government service. These investigations, which arose out of an undertaking which I gave to consider certain representations made 1989W to me by a deputation, are being actively pursued, but the subject is a complicated one, and I regret that I am not yet in a position to make any statement.
