§ Mr. BurginThe London Passenger Transport Board anticipates that, with the exception of certain short sections, trolley buses will be in operation, in less than a year, on the whole of the 219 miles of route for which the Board has 1275W already been granted powers. The Board is seeking powers in the present Session of Parliament for the conversion of the remaining 132 miles of tramways to trolley bus operation. The Board state that it is impossible to forecast the date by which all the tramways covered by the Board's present Bill will have been replaced.
