Sir W. WomesleyI am not aware that the inclusion of part of the Barking Urban District in the Dagenham postal area causes inconvenience and delay in the postal services. The proposal in the second part of the hon. Member's question has had exhaustive and sympathetic consideration on several occasions, but for the reasons given in the Postmaster-General's answer to his question of the 9th of November, 1936, I regret that it is not possible to accede to it.
