§ Mr. Lyonsasked the Under-Secretary of State for Air whether at any, and which, airports wireless facilities have been reduced or withdrawn, and established or improved, respectively, since the publication of the Maybury Report?
§ Lieut.-Colonel MuirheadThe only withdrawal has been at Gatwick, which has ceased to be the base of a regular air service, and the only reduction at Kirkwall, where a change in the air services has made it possible to terminate the hours of watch a little earlier. As against this, the hours of watch have been extended at twelve existing wireless stations, and new stations are being opened to-morrow in the Isle of Man and in Manchester.
