§ Mr. ElliotThe rates of maternal mortality per 1,000 births for 1934, 1935 and 1936 were in the case of Edinburgh 5.3, 5.3 and 5.5 and in the case of Glasgow 6.0, 7.0 and 5.9. The 1936 rates are provisional.
