HC Deb 25 February 1937 vol 320 c2202W
Sir W. Edge

asked the Minister of Health how many subsidised houses have been built or are being constructed in Leicestershire, each of which is intended to accommodate an elderly married couple without children?

Sir K. Wood

I have approved the erection with Exchequer assistance in Leicestershire of 326 separate small dwelling houses having only one bedroom, which are suitable for occupation by aged persons without children.
