HC Deb 22 February 1937 vol 320 c1664W
Mr. Hopkin

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what was the total amount, for each year, of the duty paid on foreign barley for grinding, separate from that used for malting, imported into this country?

Mr. Chamberlain

It is not possible to give details showing proportionate amounts representing the duty paid on imported barley used for particular purposes.
