MorrisonThe numbers of agricultural workers (both regular and casual) employed on 4th June on holdings of over I acre in extent in England and Wales as returned by occupiers of such holdings were 741,696 in 1930 and 640,573 in 1936. These figures exclude occupiers, their wives and domestic servants.
