asked the Minister of Transport how many selected generating stations there are under the various electricity schemes, the companies and corporations owning them, and their installed capacity at 31st December, 1936; and if he can give the same information respecting non-selected generating stations operating under licence from the Electricity Commissioners?

Complete figures for the plant installed and plant taken out of operation during 1936 are not yet available, but the figures for installed capacity at 31st December, 1935, are as follow:
