HC Deb 03 February 1937 vol 319 cc1616-7W
Mr. Lyons

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air whether any decision has now been reached with reference to the establishment of an auxiliary air squadron for the city and county of Leicester?

Sir P. Sassoon

It has not been found possible to locate in Leicestershire one of the four new auxiliary squadrons which are being formed under the expansion scheme, but I am glad to be able to say that a centre will be formed in Leicester in connection with the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.
