asked the Home Secretary the number of applications for certificates that death had been caused by silicosis received by the medical board under the various industries' silicosis schemes from among coal miners in South Wales in the year ended 31st December, 1936; the number of certificates granted; the number of applications rejected; and similar separate figures for the anthracite miners of South Wales in the same period?

Out of 98 such applications 63 were granted; 60 of the applications related to anthracite miners and 39 were granted.
