HC Deb 23 December 1937 vol 330 c2187W
Mr. McGovern

asked the Attorney-General whether his attention has been drawn to the case of Mrs. Irene Green, of Norfolk Street, Wisbech, who received letters and open postcards from Recovery and Adjustments Bureau, Limited, Cannon Street, London, Mr. Sydney Charles Price, Miss Julia May Dutton, and Mr. Frank Arnold Prayer, directors and shareholders of the company, which were described by Mr. Justice Hawke, on 21st December, as outrageous; that this debt of 6s. 11d. was not due by Mrs. Green; and will he take action against these persons?

The Attorney-General

I have seen a newspaper report of this case and am having inquiries made.
