HC Deb 23 December 1937 vol 330 cc2196-7W
Sir A. Wilson

asked the Home Secretary whether he will consider the introduction during this Session of legislation to give effect to the recommendation contained in paragraph 178 of the report of the departmental committee on imprisonment in default of fines that the time for appealing against an application order should be extended to six months and that there should, in certain circumstances, be power to annul an adjudication of paternity?

Sir S. Hoare

I am not in a position to promise legislation on these topics in the near future.
