I understand that the various bodies who wish to give evidence before the committee are being1996W asked to complete and submit a written summary of their evidence before the end of the year, and the committee hope to hold a public sitting in Cardiff early in the New Year. Further sittings will be necessary before the inquiry can be closed. As regards the second part of the question, I will consider the question of publication of the report as soon as I receive it.
