WoodI have not myself received any representations from local authorities on this subject, but I understand that representations were made to the Departmental Committee on the Rent Restrictions Acts. The report of this committee has now been submited and will be published. The whole question of the future of rent control will be carefully considered in the light of the committee's recommendations.
