HC Deb 09 December 1937 vol 330 c596W
Captain Strickland

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he is aware of the urgent necessity of a new municipal hospital at Tel Aviv, in Palestine; and whether arrangements have now been made to enable its construction to commence at an early date?

Mr. Ormsby-Gore

I am aware that the Municipality of Tel Aviv has had under consideration for some time the construction of a new municipal hospital. I have no information as to the present position, but I will ask the High Commissioner for a report.
