Figures showing the number of families assisted to remove from all Special Areas (as distinct from the other areas scheduled for the purposes of the Industrial Transference Scheme) are available from April, 1935. From this date to September, 1937, inclusive, 14,442 removals were effected from the Special Areas, but the number of dependants included in these removals is not known.
