§ Lieut.-Commander Fletcherasked the Prime Minister whether His Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom are already in communication with the Dominion Governments on matters affecting the Colonial question which arises out of the recent conversations between the Lord President of the Council and the head of the German Government and between His Majesty's Government and the French Ministers; if not, do they propose to enter into such communications at an early date; and will he assure the House that no proposals or commitments on this subject will be entered into except in consultation with the Dominion Governments?
§ The Prime MinisterHis Majesty's Governments in the Dominions have been kept fully informed of all aspects of the conversations to which the hon. and gallant Member refers, and His Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom will continue to keep in close touch with them on all developments of the situation.
