HC Deb 26 April 1937 vol 323 c40W
Sir A. Wilson

asked the Home Secretary whether he is aware that no report on the work of the children's department has been published since 1928; and whether, in view of the importance of making the work done by the Department, and in particular of approved schools, as widely known as possible, he will consider the need for a further report in a popular form at an early date?

Sir J. Simon

I would refer my hon. and gallant Friend to the reply which I gave to my hon. Friend the Member for Lichfield (Mr. Lovat-Fraser) on 1st February last.
