asked the Minister of Health how many referees have been appointed under Section 90 of the National Health Insurance Act, 1924, and the rates of their remuneration?

The number of referees in England and Wales is eight, and their remuneration is a fee not exceeding 10 guineas a day or 12 guineas where a hearing extends beyond seven hours.
