MORRISONSince 1st November, 1935, increases in the weekly40W minimum rates of wages fixed under the Agricultural Wages (Regulation) Act, 1924, have been made in 27 of the 47 Agricultural Wages Committee areas, and in two other areas the committees, while leaving the weekly minimum wage unchanged, have reduced the number of hours specified in relation to that wage. In four other areas the committees have recently made decisions providing for increases in the minimum weekly wage which have not yet become effective.
