asked the Minister of Transport whether he can give figures showing the numbers of persons killed or injured on the roads in town and country districts, respectively, during comparable periods before and after the imposition of the 30-miles-per-hour speed limit?

The numbers of persons killed and injured in town and county police districts respectively during the 52 weeks ended 16th March, 1935, and 14th March, 1936, the periods immediately before and after the imposition of the 30-miles-per-hour speed limit, were as follow.
