Mr. W. JOSEPH STEWARTasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware that according to the latest Board of Trade survey 213 new factories were established in Greater London 1936W during 1935, and during this same period only two new factories and six extensions were recorded in the whole of the Special Areas; and is it the intention of the Government to deal with the question of the location of industry so that factories will be established in the areas where there are large numbers of unemployed?
