§ Mr. GOLDIEasked the Minister of Transport when it is proposed to commence the alterations and improvements to Sloane Square Station; and whether in the interests of public safety such alterations will include the lengthening of the platforms so that passengers in the front and rear carriages will no longer be compelled to alight in the tunnels adjacent to the station?
§ Mr. HORE-BELISHAThe London Passenger Transport Board inform me that they expect to begin the reconstruction of this station and to lengthen the platforms early next year.
