Mr. BATEY

asked the Minister of Labour (1) whether he can give the weekly expenditure of the Unemployment Assistance Board on the latest available date, and also the weekly expenditure in November, 1934;

(2) whether he can give the total numbers of persons in receipt of payments by the Unemployment Assistance Board in Great Britain at the latest available date, and also the numbers in November, 1934?
