asked the Minister of Pensions the approximate number of persons in receipt of pensions granted for disablement or death resulting from war service prior to the 4th August, 1914, and the annual value of these pensions?

The number of persons in receipt of pensions granted for disablement or death resulting from war service prior to the 4th August, 1914, is approximately 6,250, and the annual value of these pensions is about £320,000 per annum.
