Mr. RANKIN

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he will name the lighthouses outside Home territorial waters for whose work the Government accept responsibility and defray the cost, and those lighthouses to whose work the Government contribute in part?

General Lighthouse Fund.
Bahamas Abaco. The whole of the cost is paid out of the General Lighthouse Fund.
Elbow Cay.
Great Isaac.
Great Stirrup Cay.
Watling Island.
Bird Rock.
Castle Island.
Inagua.
Cay Lobos.
Matanilla Shoal (lighted buoy).
West Indies Sombrero. Do.
Ceylon and Minicoy Great Basses. Do.
Little Basses.
Barberyn.
Dondra Head.
Minicoy.
Falkland Islands (South America). Cape Pembroke. Do.
Gibraltar Europa Point. Do.
This lighthouse is part of the Trinity House Service.
Morocco Cape Spartel. A portion of the cost is charged to the Fund, the remainder being met by contributions from various countries. The lighthouse is managed by an International Commission at Tangier.
Mercantile Marine Services Vote.
Ex-Turkish lighthouses in Red Sea. Abu Ail. Jebel Teir. A portion of the cost is charged to the Vote, the remainder being met by contributions from various countries. The British contribution is raited by means of a light due on British ships at Port Said.
