§ Mr. AMMONasked the Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs whether his attention has been called to the decision of the legislative assembly of Manitoba to arrange for the settlement on the land of 500 British families with guaranteed economic disposal of the produce raised by the settlers; and whether he can make a statement on the subject?
Mr. M. MacDONALDI have only seen Press reports in regard to the attitude of the Manitoba Legislative Assembly in the matter referred to, and am not therefore at present in a position to make a statement.
